We end this series on I Peter by looking at what the church needs in light of the reality that suffering and judgment has already begun. Peter ends his letter by addressing the church's need for godly leadership and spiritual humility while also calling the church to be aware of our enemy and to remain hopeful in the firm faith that is ours.

This text begins with the statement "the end of all things is at hand." This message first addresses how that can be true even though written 2000 years ago. And considers how we are to live a life in readiness at the coming of Jesus.

Christ chose the way of suffering and he calls his followers to choose the same even if it costs you everything.

In this message we ask the question: how do you respond in Christ-likeness when you are suffering because of Christ-likeness?
