Alpha: Serving Team Training
Alpha depends on people who are willing to welcome guests, prepare meals, lead conversations, pray, provide childcare, and help behind the scenes. There are both on-site and at-home opportunities, with different levels of commitment.

Everyone is welcome! Join us as we kick off a new ministry year with a morning of learning about Jesus, followed by a BBQ and an afternoon of fun for all ages.
BetterMan: Defined
BetterMan Defined is a follow-up series built on the BetterMan Core Curriculum. It consists of a 5–6-week curriculum taking a deeper dive into key principles of biblical manhood.
Youth Group
The Midtown Youth Ministry seeks to disciple students in Christ by guiding and mentoring them to grow in their faith, understanding and relationship with Jesus. Tuesday nights are an opportunity to come together for a time of teaching, discussion, fun and encouragement as we dig into God’s written word while seeing how to understand it, apply it and live it out in the world.
Fall Launch BBQ
Doors open on Wednesday, September 16 at 6:00 PM for a YA BBQ. Come hungry and bring a friend! This is a casual hangout where we look forward to getting to know one another.
YA! Midweek
Join us Wednesday evenings as we gather to study God’s Word, pray and build meaningful friendships. We’ll meet around the firepit as much as possible to enjoy both rich conversations and the beauty of creation.
Alpha
Alpha is a 9-week course (plus one Alpha Day) where people can explore the Christian faith in a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment.
Youth Rec Night: Grog!
Join us for a night of darkness, monsters, and flashlights! Join us on September 18 for a night of Grog! Where a team of youth run around the building in search of flashlight pieces in order to stop the grog monsters running around! There will be strategy, cooperation, hiding from monsters, and most importantly, FUN! Join us from 7:00-9:00pm and let the hunt begin!
How to Study Your Bible
The Bible tells one story: how God rescues lost people through Jesus Christ. Because the Bible is made up of 66 books, written by more than 40 Holy Spirit inspired authors over 2,000 years, in different languages and literary styles, learning to study it can feel overwhelming.
Baptism Class
The Baptism Class is for anyone interested in finding out more about baptism and/or wanting to be baptized. This, along with the Membership Class, is a requirement for anyone wanting to be baptized at Midtown. You don't have to commit to getting baptized to take the class.

In our fast-paced world, we're often so focused on what's right in front of us that we miss the bigger picture of what God is doing in and around us. What if, instead of keeping our heads down, we lifted our eyes to Christ? What if we caught a glimpse of Jesus in our joys, sorrows, decisions, and doubts? The Psalms show us how.
D-Groups
Jesus calls His followers to make disciples—growing in their love and knowledge of God while helping others do the same. At Midtown, one of the primary ways we live out this calling is through Discipleship Groups (D-Groups).
Games Night
Who’s in?! We love to compete and have fun! Please bring your own game if you have a favourite, though, we have lots to choose from here. Bring a friend!
Membership Class
The Membership Class is for anyone interested in finding out more about membership at Midtown. Attending the class will not automatically make you a member.

2026 Youth Retreat: True & Better
Midtown Youth are once again partnering again with our sister churches (Christ City and Crossridge) for our annual youth retreat. As the Church, we seek to know who Jesus is. Yet, God in his glory—from the very beginning—revealed who Jesus is by giving us hints through various characters and stories in the Old Testament. As we gather together, we will look at New Testament passages that bring light to the Old Testament and show us that Jesus is the True & Better fulfillment of the Old Testament.
Friendsgiving Potluck
Doors open on Wednesday, September 14 for our first off Friendsgiving Potluck. A sign-up sheet will be provided closer to the time. Feel free to invite a guest!

Bowling
Friday, November 6 will bring fun, laughter, and a healthy dose of competition at the bowling alley. This is a great event to bring others to.
Christmas Party Gingerbread House Competition
Now this is one of our favorites... working in teams you will seek to build the very best gingerbread house. We’ll provide houses, icing and décor but feel free to bring extra candy for decoration. Prizes will be awarded for a number of categories. Game on!
