What can I expect?
Our gatherings are relaxed and casual, but focused.
We don't think we need to be flashy or put on big productions for people to meet God. We believe that Jesus is enough. When we gather we sing songs about and for God, we teach from the Bible, we pray and we respond by taking communion together. The goal through it all is to love God and know Him better by making God's unchanging truth accessible without watering it down.
On a Sunday you can expect to encounter a diverse, biblical community where people seek to know and love God, live in community with others, and transform the world by serving our city as we think Jesus would. Practically speaking, that means that some of us are just checking out Christianity for the first time, while others have been in church their whole lives. We want Midtown to be a place where you can learn, apply, and wrestle with who God is and what He wants for you. It's okay if you don't have it all figured out yet. Everyone is welcome.
And no, there is no dress code!
Is Kids Ministry available?
Yes! We love having kids as part of our church family.
When you arrive, please check in your children at the Kids Ministry desk. Nursery and Tots head straight to their classrooms, while Preschool through Grade 5 begin in Room 100 for worship as part of the Gathering. After worship, they’ll be dismissed with their leaders to their classrooms.
At the end of the Gathering, please pick up your children from their classrooms.
