Partnership with Fleming Elementary

We are excited to invite you to our annual Gifts of Hope event, where we extend a warm welcome to the parents of 30 low-income families from Fleming Elementary to join us on Wednesday, December 18th at 6:30 PM for a heartwarming evening of engaging with our neighbors, complimentary shopping for the families and Christmas cheer!

Event Details:

Date & Time: Wednesday, December 18th at 6:30 PM
Location: Midtown Church (lobby)
What to Expect: Parents will have the opportunity to “complementary shop” for toys and gifts for their children. Additionally, we will have a team of gift wrappers and provide grocery and clothing gift cards, parent gift bags, as well as fresh baking and pantry items to make their Christmas extra special.

We need many volunteers to help families select gifts for their children, provide gift wrapping, assist with baking, and serve coffee and treats.

Toy Donations

Purchase unwrapped toys for the families to choose from. Drop them off at the connect desk by December 8th. We have provided a list of suggestions below, but all toys are welcome! Consider involving your children in choosing gifts for other kids.

We invite you to pray for the families of Fleming, that they feel warmly welcomed at Midtown as well as hear and experience the good news of Jesus Christ this Christmas!

Christmas Meals:

Additionally, due to the fruitfulness of our Thanksgiving turkey meal distribution, we are inviting five families to our Christmas Eve service, where they will receive a delicious turkey meal to take and enjoy at home. If you'd like to contribute toward these meals, please visit Rebel Give through our website and choose the option labeled Christmas meal. The total cost for five families is $1,545.
