Prayer

Prayer, at the very least, includes adoration of God, confession of sins, thanksgiving, and supplication. Participants will be subdivided into gender specific, small prayer groups or partners. This is done intentionally so participants are discipled or disciple others to help them learn to pray, practice prayer, and have space to share prayer requests with someone they trust.

Prayer Format

Prayer is done in partners or groups of three, which remain the same for the duration of the session. These partners or groups are called Discipleship partners.

Why

  • This promotes intimacy and accountability, and encourages shepherding one another.
  • Follow up and encourage one another during the week.
  • Ensures people pray.

Who

  • Partners/groups chosen by the leader - guys with guys, gals with gals.

What

  • Prays through Scripture that was meditated on by using the acronym A.C.T.S.: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication.
  • Praying Through Scripture doc.

How

  • 30 min prayer time in partners or groups of three.
