Sundays at 10 AM
6060 Culloden Street
We continue this Sunday our Fall series on Revelation looking at Revelation 1:4-20.
Check in your Preschool–Grade 5 kids as usual, then bring them into the Gathering for worship. They’ll be called to the front for prayer before heading with their leaders to class. This helps them know they’re seen, prayed over, and ready to learn. Checkout will be from their classrooms as usual.
What can I expect on a Sunday?
We keep it pretty simple. It's relaxed and casual, but focused. We don't think we need to be flashy or put on big productions for people to meet God. We believe that Jesus is enough. When we gather we sing songs about and for God, we teach from the Bible, we pray and we respond by taking communion together. The goal through it all is to love God and know Him better by making God's unchanging truth accessible without watering it down.
On a Sunday you can expect to encounter a diverse, biblical community where people seek to know and love God, live in community with others, and transform the world by serving our city as we think Jesus would. Practically speaking, that means that some of us are just checking out Christianity for the first time, while others have been in church their whole lives. We want Midtown to be a place where you can learn, apply, and wrestle with who God is and what He wants for you. It's okay if you don't have it all figured out yet. Everyone is welcome. And no, there is no dress code!

Revelation 1–5: The Unveiling
“Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near” (Revelation 1:3).
Few books in the Bible trigger as much fascination, confusion and fear as the book of Revelation does. Yes, there are some, who can’t get enough of it but more frequently are those who shy away from it altogether. If you’re part of this second group don’t beat yourself up, you’re not alone.
But sadly, when we choose to shy away from it we miss out on so much of the beauty and wonder that’s unveiled in it. To borrow from Darrel Johnson and his book, Discipleship on the Edge, no other book presents the gospel as powerfully as Revelation does. No other book portrays Jesus as clearly and compellingly as Revelation does. And no other book crystallizes what it means to be a follower of Jesus in this world more than Revelation does.
The plan for this series is to go through Revelation chapters 1-5 this Fall but depending on the response we may carry on in the new year. We pray that this will be a rich series for all who participate.
