2025 Tanzania Mission Trip
June 28th to July 13th
Join us this summer as we head to Kigoma Tanzania to serve alongside our supported mission work at Hope of The Nations Bible College. In partnership with Praxis Church in Kelowna, we are going to be sending a team to Kigoma Tanzania to work alongside some of the recent church plants out of the Bible College. Our team will principally work doing evangelism in the neighbourhoods the church plants are in, as well as helping with some of the local kids and youth activities.
Team training will take place throughout the spring, and fundraising opportunities will take place to help offset the cost.
The cost is approximately $3,500. Application due date is February 15.
Please prayerfully consider participating on this mission trip.

Is there an age requirement for team members? No, as long as you can participate in all aspects of training and on the ground work while in Tanzania you are welcome to apply.
What will training and preparation involve?Because this is a partnered trip with Praxis Church in Kelowna, there will be Zoom meetings with the team members there along with Midtown only training and team building sessions. Once the team has been set we will schedule dates for training. Anticipate monthly meetings beginning in early March.
The trip is expensive, are there going to be fundraising opportunities? It’s expected that each team member will help pay for a portion of the trip. But because this is an official trip of Midtown Church, each team member will be able to raise outside support with donations eligible for tax receipt purposes. Additionally, scholarship support from Midtown will be considered on a case by case basis. More information will be given in the training sessions.
What about vaccinations? This will be different for each individual. We ask that you be in contact with a local travel clinic for information regarding your specific needs.
Will I need a visa?Yes, but visas are paid for and received upon arrival in Tanzania. More information will be given about visas in the training sessions.
What will we be doing while in Tanzania? Many things including door to door evangelism, working with local church plants, kids ministry, and support of the many on the ground ministries of Hope of the Nations.
Where will we be staying in Tanzania?Lodging will be in the dorms of the Hope of the Nations Bible School in Kigoma, Tanzania.
