Revelation 8:6–9:21

How does God respond to the violence, injustice, self-centredness, unchecked arrogance and rebellion of fallen humanity? Does he have sovereign control over armed conflicts, economic hardships, natural disasters, famines and diseases that ravage many nations around the world?
