Ep. 01

Romans 8:1-4 (Part 1)

July 5, 2026

Romans 8 is considered by many to be the greatest chapter in the Bible. Which doesn't mean it's more divine than others, but that it stands as a chapter by which all others are measured. In a kick off message to our summer series we look at three realities that are true of all Christians in Romans 8:1-4.

Ep. 02

Romans 8:1-4 (Part 2)

July 12, 2026

In this second of two messages from Romans 8:1-4 we answer two questions: 1, what is the difference between the flesh and the body? And 2, what should the Christian's relationship be with the law today? But before going there we look at what God, in Christ, did for us that we couldn't do for ourselves.

Ep. 03

Romans 8:5-9

In spite of all the people in the world the Bible says they fall into one of two groups: people of the Spirit and people of the flesh. In this message we look at both and highlight the contrast between each group.

Ep. 04

Romans 8:9-11

July 26, 2026

Romans 8:9-11 teaches that believers are led and empowered by the indwelling Holy Spirit - He has moved in! And He marks them and secures them as truly belonging to Christ. Though physical bodies remain subject to death due to sin, the Spirit gives spiritual life now and guarantees future bodily resurrection.

Ep. 05

Romans 8:12-17

August 2, 2026

We like new things, who doesn't? And the Bible likes new things too. In this passage what we like and what the Bible likes converge as we see three new things the Spirit brings: a new debt, a new person and a new future.

Ep. 06

Romans 8:18-23

August 9, 2026

Suffering is a topic frequently addressed in the Scriptures but too often ignored. In this message we address the perspective, the pain and the promise that comes with our suffering. And suffering for the sake of Christ most of all.
